German American Chamber of Commerce
Since 2015, the GACC Pittsburgh Chapter (German American Chamber of Commerce® Pittsburgh Chapter) has been the first point of contact for German and U.S. companies in Western Pennsylvania. As the official representative of German business, we support transatlantic trade through consulting, networking events, industry insights, and the implementation of the German Dual Apprenticeship System in the region.
Who We Support
At the German American Chamber of Commerce, Pittsburgh Chapter (GACC PIT), we support everyone involved in advancing the apprenticeship model in the U.S.
We work with high school students interested in gaining hands-on experience through our Pre-Apprenticeship Program, helping them explore career paths in technical and skilled professions. We also support companies that are building or expanding their registered apprenticeship programs, as well as community colleges and training partners.
Of course, we mainly support the apprentices themselves - those who are learning, earning, and shaping the future of the workforce through the German-style apprenticeship system.
